Just a bit of Valentine's yumminess....

I Tried to make the BEST of Valentine's day this year.  I feel like crap YUCK! My mouth is STILL killing me after having my tooth pulled friday.  I hardly have energy to stand.  BUT I knew I needed to make something for the girls to take to their teachers and  friends for Valentine's.... PLUS I wanted to make them a special treat too.... to show them I LOVE THEM! (I think they already know, but still.)

Here are just a few of the yummy treats we I made (ok maybe I had a little help from my girls)

You CAN'T go wrong with CHOCOLATE!  I also made Heart shaped brownies for my girls but forgot to take pictures. That was their "Valentine's treat" they took to have at school, from MOM!

I then made (decorated) these tshirts for my girls

(my oldest said she was too old to wear one... that's why there is No picture of her)

I figured I would add a few of the Valentine's decorations around my home.... some I made, others I bought. Can you tell which I made???

Happy Valentine's to all my 4 little Valentine's.....I am a pretty lucky mom!

Oh the goodness

It is a tradition in my family to bake, bake and bake goodies for Christmas.... well we bake (make treats) with a purpose.  The purpose being that we pass out plates of homemade goodies to all the local Fire Dept. and Police Dept in the area CHRISTmas eve.  To thank them for their service and sacrifice for being away of CHRISTmas eve from their families, so that we can be safe.

This year Haylee helped me make most of our treats.  Actually we baked for 3 days.  1st making plates of yummy goodness to our friends and neighbors.  Lots of chocolate and peanut butter.  (it seemed to be the theme this year LOL) Yesterday though Haylee and I made some yummy goodness ...... like these

And this was just some of it.

Haylee, Delaney and I took it around last nite.  We started with the Naval Hospital, then off to the front gate of M.P.'s than off to the Fire Station (they dug into the treats before we even left the parking lot) and last the back gate of M.P.'s.  I am so glad that we have traditions, especially the ones I had growing up, that I can pass on to our girls.  CHRISTmas is for giving and sharing in the JOY of others..  Glad we could do that last nite, even if it was just with yummy treats!

What Baby wants... Baby gets!

Step 1:       Baby finds a popsicle….
(sorry for the crazy eyes.)
Step 2:   Baby figures out how to rip it open with her teeth (Thanks to big sisters for showing her that one)

Step 3:  Baby is in HEAVEN with her popsicle.

Maybe this big sister is to BLAME for getting the popsicle for her J  Oh well… at least they are happy kids.
