How did I get here?

My sweet little Kelsee has been having a really hard time sleeping in her bed since her daddy has been gone. See he has told her since she was little "when daddy is gone you can sleep in MY bed and keep it warm for me" Funny cuz NONE of the other girls have EVER slept in our bed til her.
I don't sleep much when she is in MY Bed. She moves alot and LOVES to sleep sideways..... which results in kicking the momma! Oh the joys.
So I told her she HAD to sleep in her bed the other night. She reluctantly went to bed.
About an hour later I was coming out from the laundry room and was surprised to find this...

She had crawled up on the loveseat and gone to sleep.

I carried her to bed and there she stayed the rest of the night. The next morning I asked her why she had come out. She had this blank look on her face and said "I didn't. I was in my bed all night". NOPE! This is proof. When I showed her the pictures she started to laugh and said "I dont remember doing that"
What a silly little girl.

Changing of the Colors

It can't be 29 Palms without these...... They are EVERYWHERE!

When I took the girls to the park last week I took these pictures of the trees. They are so beautiful as they change color. You dont see that much out here. I love this time of year!

It's that time of year..... AGAIN!

Yesterday we went to The Winter Festival.... put on by Lincoln Military Housing here on the base. The lines were long, it was COLD and Delaney was Grumpy! We didnt end up staying too long but we did have a fun time.

I can get at least these 3 to take a good picture.

But I put Delaney in the mix and she NEVER wants to look at the camera. So this is as good as it gets. =)

All the kids got a FREE (and you know I love FREE) gift from the Toy tent!

Delaney was so excited to get her present.

The girls waiting in line.... in the COLD! Oh yeah, did I say it was COLD! Luckily they had HOT cocoa for us to drink to get warm.

Playing in the sun.....

Delaney In deep thought.... It always happens that I go to take a picture of her and just before I snap the camera she looks away. I have about 6 of these just from our trip to the park!

I asked Kelsee to SMILE and this is what I got! I love my kids.....

Delaney discovered that the grass isnt so bad. She loved touching it and picking up all the sticks and rocks.

My big girl! she is standing LOTS now on her own.... I just loved her expression in this one. She was so proud of herself
Kelsee and Sydney LOVED playing in the tree.

Haylee is all grown up. I straightened her hair and she looks even older!

This is my favorite. Delaney walking along..... just holding my finger.

We had a great time at the park.... just playing in the sun. We have to do that more often! I love making memories with my girls

Who do I look like????

Ok any guesses on who I look like??

I just couldnt resist sharing these. She looked too cute!

Haylee was giving Delaney a bath and she LOVES to give her hairstyles. This is just 1 of them before my camera batteries died. She also gave her a mohawk and a nice little curl in the front.

The tradition carries on....

It is the Tradition in my family and has been for MANY MANY years now that the first monday (FHE) after Thanksgiving we go to visit the "Christmas House" and look at the lights and all the new things. My girls havent had the opportunity since I think Kelsee was a baby. We ended up going on Sunday night because the girls and I had to leave to go back home Monday morning.

Me and the girls

My wonderful parents

LOTS to see.... So many things, the girls were in AWE!

I look like death warmed over. I was still not feeling my best, after being sick for 2 days.

Kelsee and Sydney checking stuff out. Look at this! and Look at this! That all I kept hearing. It was so cute. Reminded me of when I was younger.

Haylee loved the singing polar bear.

Uncle David and the girls..... he is the best Uncle EVER!

The goose.... nice that they strategically placed it so that we couldnt stick our finger in its mouth. (a tradition since we were little kids. For some reason we loved to get our finger squished by the moveable beek)

After the Christmas House we went by a house on the other side of Simi. It is FULL of Disney decor! Whoever lives there is an Amazing artist. The girls LOVED it!

Grandma and the girls checking everything out..... trying to find WALDO... they hide him in different places every year.

After we went to these house.... we continued the tradition and got ICE CREAM! My girls didnt remember ever doing that. No matter how cold we go.... Even Delaney got in on the act of eating the ice cream.... sorry no pics I had the camera and I was the one feeding her the ice cream. But believe you me she had a face full of Chocolate Malted Crunch!

It was amazing to be able to carry on the tradition of this with my girls. I hope to make many more trips there with them.... but next time hopefully we will have our daddy with us =)

November's Double Coupon Day

Ok so here are the pictures FINALLY from my Double coupons day this month. This is ALL the goodies I got for $103.09 (except a package of diapers that I had to break open and use)

So I saved a total of $440.52 this month and only spent 14% of what the totals were. My dad gave me the suggestion to figure out the percent because then it is more dramatic. I think so!

Happy Veteran's Day!

I am grateful to ALL those who serve this great country. For those past and present. For those that have given their lives for MY freedom. I am SO grateful. I am also grateful to be married to a US Marine. One who works so hard and gives 110% of himself to go above and beyond. He is MY hero! He is my girls hero too!

I hope as you go throughout your days, you remember those who protect OUR freedoms to live in this country and be able to worship as we please. To say those things that we want and not be afraid. I am a VERY proud AMERICAN and THANKFUL to my Father in Heaven for the opportunity to know such hero's and live in such a land to be FREE!

This is MY hero... My husband.... my friend

**Just a little sidenote..... Yesterday NOV. 10th 2009 Was the Marine Corps birthday HAPPY 234th BIRTHDAY Marines!**
