I am a PROUD momma!

This week has been crazy busy!  We went to my parents last weekend for the President's Day holiday. Then I decided to have the girls skip out on school for an extra day and we didn't come back home til Tues night.  When Sydney (#2 daughter) came home from school Wednesday she showed me THIS

yup! That's right..... She won 2nd place in the Science Fair.  Remember this post? We spent all that time on it and I thought she deserved SOMETHING!  Well she got better than something!  SHE ROCKS!  I am SO proud of my daughter!!!

How did I spend my afternoon???

 SCIENCE FAIR projects are the DEVIL!  I swear, it is a punishment for the parents.  WE end up doing most of it.  Case in point "I" was the one who printed off ALL the junk we then cut and mounting on cardstock and then glued to the board. Oh ya, "I" was the one who did that.  My daughter, bless her heart, just sat and watch me... oh and made  it look like she helped, when I was taking the picture.

BUT....

she DID make this Human Heart model, ALL BY HERSELF!  pretty amazing if I do say so myself!  My budding artist :)

I am SOOO glad to be DONE with this thing.  2 down... 2 more to go! (I am talking SF projects that is)

Honestly I don't care if she wins, she did a great job and I am proud of her (isn't that what a "good mom" says?)

Curlers galore

My girls LOVE to get their hair curled.  Well NOT Haylee (she already has curly hair) she LOVES to straighten hers.

The other day Sydney wanted me to put curlers in her hair before bed.  Of course Delaney had to follow along and "copy" her big sister.

Picture Day

It is AMAZING to me how much it costs to get school pictures done... Times 3 for me... WOW! I am gonna go broke 

So I took these the morning before Sydney and Kelsee left for school.

This past week I took 2 of my girls to the Eye Dr.  Sydney has worn glasses for reading for over 2 years now.  Well SURPRISE SURPRISE!  Her eyes have gotten worse and she now has to wear them ALL THE TIME!

And now here she is in her new digs 

 I think she looks adorable.  She picked him out herself.  They are NOT what I would've picked but She LOVES them and they are what she wanted, so I gave in!

 

My toothless wonder

My Sydney LOVES to pull out her teeth.  I think sometimes it is a sick fixation she has.  Really. Or maybe its that she LOVES the money that the toothfairy bring her. (shhh don’t tell her I said that) 

 Twice now she has pulled out 2 teeth in the same day.  She is now missing 4 of her top teeth.  She recently lost 2 in 1 day which accounted for tooth #15 and #16.

Haircut Time!

it's that time of year AGAIN!  Hard to believe that summer is OVER and the new school year is about to begin.....

Life has been crazy over the last week.  LOTS of "stuff" to get done and we aint done yet!

Wednesday the girls got their "school haircuts".  Even Delaney got a cut. Her 1st to be exact.  And I figured WHY NOT get mine done too!  (WOW! that was ALOT of money!)  So here is the results of the haircuts...

I love my girls

We sure have had some fun times this summer. I am a lucky mommy.  I know I have said it before but I really do LOVE my girls.  With as much as they drive me NUTSO sometimes.  They are the best!  I am so glad that we could share some amazing memories together this summer.  Here are just a few of my favorite pictures of them

With the summer winding down and the girls getting ready to go back to school I am sad.  I have really enjoyed the TIME we've been able to spend together.  They truly are a blessing in my life.  They have made this deployment easier and go by MUCH quicker by keeping me busy and on my toes!

1 week left to enjoy them and then it's back to the crazy school life :(

They are growing up so quickly.  I swear it was yesterday they were all just little. 

We spent the day together today... playing and having fun!  We had a PIONEER DAY Celebration at our church. (these are just a few of the pictures)

Then I took them to get pedicures and I got my nails done, while the baby was taking a nap.  Its fun to spoil them and share these fun little things with them!

Sydney just loves it all!!!  Especially the flowers

 Problem is they had her move outta the chair too quick and this was the result... so we had to get the big toes redone..... her is the second time around.

Didn't realize it til I took the picture... the right toe got messed up again.

Man I give up!
